The lamp is done in the Dragonfly theme that was very popular with Louis Comfort Tiffany when he was designing lamps in the early 20^th century and remains a popular theme today. The golden wings of the dragonfly on the shade and its dark burgundy body real do resemble this water loving insect. The head of this creature appears at the end of the shade to give it an ill regular edge. Touches of red, green, yellow and blue do not stand out but blend in to the overall design. This product is part of the DRAGON line which contains other types of lamps that are handcrafted in the same style. This lamp could easily become the focal point of a any room.
