This lamp is part of the COOPER line of lamps which also includes a floor lamp and ceiling fixture with the same shade. The shade on this table lamp is globe shaped and much of the design is comprised of vertical and horizontal lines which resemble longitude and latitude lines on a globe. Petals and diamonds command the pattern at the top of the lamp while a Victorian floral design makes up the bottom of the shade. Pastel colors are found in this shade featuring a light burgundy, light blue, light green and yellow. The grooved base of this lamp is finished in an antique bronze and is concaved, narrowing in the middle. The curve of the base matches the curve of the shade. Because of its smaller 16” shade this lamp is an option for the nightstand in the bedroom or on the desk in the study but it also works well in the front room.
