This panel shows a group of birds sitting on a wire. However, this is not just any gathering it is a Sunday gathering and the Cardinal himself all decked out in his red robes has come to visit to impart key virtues to his flock, which have gathered around him on the wire, that they need to follow when they all depart and return to their individual nests.

A visit from the Cardinal brings a lot of color to an otherwise dreary telephone wire, there is of course the Cardinals red but also the many colors that his flock are wearing orange, brown, purple, turquoise and white – they are all wearing their Sunday best. The telephone wire carries within it messages from one caller to another but on the outside of the wire are messages of a higher calling.
