There is a lot of white stained glass in the center of this Victorian fireplace screen which allows the light from the fire to pass right through the screen and brighten up the room. At the center of this screen against the white background is a pointed blue scroll that forms a red diamond in its center. This scrollwork connects with green and purple scrollwork that is connected by a medallion near the bottom. The blue scrollwork is encompassed by a purple arch, above the arch is similar scrollwork at the top of the screen.
Over 500 stained glass pieces along with 41 cabochons and 13 crystals are all fitted into a metal and bronze frame which folds up for easy storage when the screen is not in use.
