The bottom of this shade is composed of dragonflies with gold wings and purple bodies that rapidly accent in a daring manor to the field underneath them. The field is constructed of purple, yellow and green copper-foiled stained glass which contains several colored stones represented by cabochons. These dragonflies are the largest creatures in their little world and because of this they can fly with wild abandon daring to travel anywhere that their hearts desire.

When turned on by one of its two pull chains, this lamp can put out a lot of light as it can accommodate two 100w light bulbs.

The sturdy metal pole and classic round resin base are finished in a dark antique bronze patina that perfectly matches the shade which is secured to the base with a pointed fennel that crowns the lamp.
