Have you ever heard it said that some things go together – bacon and eggs, salt and pepper - and then there are things that do not go together – socks and sandals, Church and State and BLUE AND GREEN! This lamp may be Victorian but it certainly proves that not all conventional wisdom is true. Blue and Green can go together!
This table lamp has a shade that is handcrafted with copper-foil stained glass in a Victorian scrollwork design. The green that appears over most of the lamp parts in the middle to reveal a dark blue. The two colors work together beautifully with purple and white accents.
A convex resin base finished in brass completes the design. The stem tappers at the bottom and its grooves are continued in the sectioned base with turned up ends.
A floor lamp with a matching shade is also available.
